We love to take walks around the community, sit by the lake and watch the ducks. We also have an annual firework show on July 3rd. Many of our neighbors bring chairs and blankets and sit and enjoy the show.

When we relocated from New York in 2004, my main concern was finding great schools for my girls. There are walking trails, golf and tennis courses. Also, from April – September, you can enjoy live music at Blakeney Music on the Green, Promenade Music on the Green, and Stonecrest Music at the Fountain on Friday and Saturday’s.

We are conveniently located near I-485, the Arboretum, and several YMCAs (the  Morrison Family YMCA, Ballantyne Village YMCA, and Siskey YMCA). Also nearby are the Post Office, ATMs/ banks, and the South County Regional Library.

Our utility costs are very low. Duke Energy consistently sends out energy reports that show how efficient your house is in comparison to your neighbors. I am pleased to share that my house is among the most efficient in the area!
